GIAP Art Visions, was manifested in mid 2014 and revolves around bringing art and creativity to the community. Run by Jenna Howearth, artist Rob McDonald (HerbRobert) and working alongside artist Angela Davies, they aim to create and support events which inspire creativity within the individual, in turn building a more creatively conscious community. Jenna, Rob and Angela have been collaborating with artists and makers for the past 5 years, running creative events and exhibitions. From stencil art workshops, live art jams, festival decor as well as developing interactive art installations, they continue to build and evolve creative spaces to inspire.
Communal Colouring Pods
A Communal Colouring Pod is like the contemporary dinner table, a place for people of all ages to sit together, get creative, share ideas and connect. What we're bringing to the festival.... The Communal Colouring Pods are a fantastic space for anyone to sit and chat, be part of a creative collaborative experience, connect with each other and have some quiet meditative time. Great for kids, teens and adults, breastfeeding mothers, those who love drawing and anyone who just needs some time out. Stations will be set up and used throughout the entirety of the festival. While chillin on some comfy cushions around the pod table, you can help colour in the large colouring sheets, each with a design by artists HerbRobert and Angela Davies. The colouring sheets cover the whole table and allow for people to get meditative within the lines or free their own creativity. Come and enjoy a safe zone where you can colour inside...or outside the lines :-)
