Starting out as a keen young DJ at some of the filthiest forest parties to have ever gone down on the North Coast of NSW, Goosebumpz quickly became known for his eclectic assortment of original bass heavy, broken beat productions. Regular appearances at boutique Australian festivals including Rainbow Serpent, Strawberry Fields and Wide Open Space sparked interest on the international circuit and in 2012, Goosebumpz took his party antics on tour overseas, headlining indoor shows throughout Canada, rocking stages and art cars at Burning Man, and slamming dancefloors at festivals such as Shambhala, Motion Notion and Bass Coast. After three busy years playing music around Australia and abroad, Goosebumpz returned home in 2015 and pulled the pin on touring, giving himself space to widen his horizons in music and life. Since then, performance has taken a back seat to completing a postgraduate science degree and working as an acoustic consultant. Even so, in that time Goosebumpz has made select appearances at a handful of festivals including Splendour In The Grass and Rainbow Serpent, supported heavyweight live acts such as KOAN Sound and Opiuo, independently released a two track Trap EP and a seven track Bass Music mini-LP, and featured on an ARIA nominated release. He also found the time to join forces with ex triple j breakfast presenters Matt & Alex after creating the “Pack Er’ Up Boys” remix, which culminated in a live performance with the pair on their final show in 2016. After six years since his last appearance at Earth Frequency Festival, Goosebumpz is finally back in 2020, ready to melt faces and break hearts with his classy blend of fierce, funky Glitch Hop and gangster, mid-tempo gear.
