Ladi Abundance is a Northern Rivers based vocalist and producer and live looper, whose music encompasses feminine empowerment, spiritual evolution and emotional tapestry. Originally a band leader of the nine piece Brisbane project "Ladi Abundance Project", Ladi now shares a perspective into her inner world with honest and conscious lyrics laid over down beat urban groove. Self described as a “fiend for vocal harmonies”, all of Miss Abundance's creations are melodic, harmony rich and dramatic. With the passionate attitude of Ladi Abundance, you will be left with food for thought about society, share in the stories of the heart and spectate in the journey of personal growth and transformation.
Since her debut at Earth Frequency Festival in 2011, Ladi has become a festival highlight at festivals along the East Coast of Australia including Woodford Folk Festival, Earth Frequency, Island Vibe (Stradbroke Island) and Wallaby Creek (FNQLD). She has supported touring artists such as Ngaiire and Deya Dova and moved crowds from Cairns to Melbourne with her heart felt performances. After the successful release of the debut EP "Slice You Up" in 2013, Ladi Abundance found a second home in Ubud Bali, gaining fresh perspective and inspiration from the land and culture which inspired her first official music video "More Time With My Soul" the single from her 2015 LP "Softening to Saturn". A conscious and honest artist has Ladi being invited into heart focused events such as Mellbourne's "Sisters for Sisters" (2014) and "Seven Sisters Festival" (2017) and Byron Spirit Festival (2017).
A move to the Northern Rivers in 2016 proved a dramatic time of transition leading Ladi into what is now an earthy electronic sound and solo performances. The single "Out The Door" was a taster of the soon to be released self produced electronic album which lends itself to hints of FKA Twiggs and Bonobo. The intricate tracks are often piano based, always featuring Ladi's signature vocal layers and harmonies, and span the contexts of fragility, empowerment, social questioning, death, love and lust.
