FESTIVAL FAQ

  • Earth Frequency's 20th Anniversary Edition will be on October 24–27, 2025 at Woodfordia, around 1-hour north of Brisbane.

  • EFF 2025 will be held at Woodfordia, a venue in the Moreton Bay region, inland from the Sunshine Coast. Woodfordia is located at 87 Woodrow Rd, Woodford.

  • Woodfordia is in the Moreton Bay Region and is a flat, forested site with permanent amenities, walking trails, and Lake Gkula for swimming. The entertainment zone is well-shaded with hundreds of gum trees providing a picturesque setting for our stages, markets and other festival features. We are going above and beyond to create an immersive festival environment this year. Camping is all flat and on solid ground, and the walking distances from campsites to stages are equal or better than at Ivory's Rock. Access is excellent and suitable for all vehicles.

  • Earth Frequency typically draws around 5,000 attendees, creating a vibrant but boutique festival atmosphere.

  • We expect a police operation on the roads and at times there may be police at the festival.

  • Yes, there are on-site Medical / First Aid services staffed 24/7 by qualified medics to handle injuries, illness, and emergencies.

  • Yes. Free, drinkable water is available onsite via multiple water refill stations. These are located throughout the festival and all attendees are encouraged to use them.

  • Yes! Showers will be set up in all campground areas.

  • We have a mixture of hot and cold showers.

  • There will be a mix of portable facilities as well as permanent Woodfordia facilities.

  • Yes, a total fire ban is in effect for the duration of the festival.

  • The stages will run until midnight on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, and until 6pm on Monday evening when the festival closes.

  • Yes! Lake Gkula is situated in the centre of the venue and offers a beautiful swimming spot for attendees. Full details of how swimming will operate during the festival will be released soon.

  • No EFF does not operate a cloak room or locker system.

  • Yes there will be an ATM onsite at the Front Gate and in the Market Place.

  • No. Alcohol will not be sold or served at the festival. EFF is a strictly BYO event.

  • Yes, you can charge your phone for $5 at the Info Tent. You can drop them off and they will be safe with the Info Tent team until you pick them up. We recommend you drop them off before your phone dies to avoid longer charging times.

  • There is a Telstra and Optus tower near the festival venue that provides mobile reception, however this can be subject to conditions at the time, including distance to towers and number of people on site.

  • Yes. Woodfordia has a general store where you can purchase coffee, snacks, and basic supplies. It’s conveniently located near the glamping area.

  • The festival map will be launched approximately 1 week before the festival dates.

  • Yes. The ConsciousNest is a safe chill-out area where attendees can rest if they feel overwhelmed or emotionally unwell. For more serious medical issues, there is on-site Medical / First Aid services staffed 24/7 by qualified medics to handle injuries, illness, and emergencies.

  • Earth Frequency Festival is an outdoor, all-weather event over four days. The event will proceed unless specific safety advice is received by a relevant authority to halt or postpone the festival.

  • It is a primarily open-air event.

  • No. All ticket purchases must go through Humanitix or Tixel. Gate sales are not available, except for teenagers 13-17, who can can purchase a youth ticket at the gate for $200. Minors must be accompanied by a legal parent/guardian, or have a written note of consent to attend from a legal parent/guardian and attend with an adult over the age of 18 years. Kids 0-12 enter free of charge.

  • Yes. Earth Frequency is an all-ages festival. Children aged 0–12 enjoy free entry. Teens (13–17) can purchase youth tickets. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, or arrive with an adult and have a consent letter from a parent / legal guardian.

  • Your ticket remains valid for the new October dates. We have re-sent all tickets with the new dates but you can email us to send your tickets out again. Your ticket code will work regardless of the printed dates.

  • No. If we don't sell out, we may offer a limited amount of Saturday and Sunday entry tickets, but that won't be announced until the weekend of the festival. We are close to selling out in 2025, so it isn't likely.

  • Kids aged 0–12 enter free of charge. Youth tickets (13–17 years) are available for $200 at the gate. Minors must be accompanied by a legal parent/guardian, or have a written note of consent to attend from a legal parent/guardian and attend with an adult over the age of 18 years.

  • If you can no longer attend for any reason and want to sell your ticket, you can list it for sale publicly or sell direct to a friend on our official ticket reseller platform Tixel. Using the Tixel service, you can list your ticket for public sale, or make a private link and sell directly to a friend so their name can be added to the ticket.   • If you haven’t received your confirmation or ticket, check your spam folder first. If it’s still missing, reach out via the contact form, referencing your purchase or asking for support.

  • If you can’t attend, your only option is to resell your ticket using the festival’s official resale platform Tixel.

  • Refunds are not available due to personal circumstances or poor weather. If the festival is genuinely postponed due to force majeure, tickets remain valid for the new dates.

  • Your tickets are emailed via Humanitix shortly after purchase. Be sure to check your inbox and spam folder. If you haven’t received your ticket, use the website’s Contact Us form for assistance.

  • For ticketing issues, use EFF’s official Contact Us form or refer to the ticketing platforms (Humanitix or Tixel) you used to purchase your tickets.

  • We are an all-ages event. Children 0–12 enter free. Teens 13–17 need a youth ticket ($200 at the gate) and must be accompanied by a guardian or have written consent.

  • Yes, but only if you use Tixel, the festival’s official resale platform. Buying from other resale sites may risk invalid tickets.

  • Tickets are emailed post-purchase via Humanitix. There will be no Box Office on site.

  • Yes, a valid photo ID matching the name on your ticket is required for entry.

  • Birthday discounts are available for those born on October 24–27. Contact https://www.earthfrequency.com.au/connect with "Birthday Ticket" in the subject line to organise your ticket.

  • Yes, we offer discounted day tickets for local residents. If your photo ID shows proof of residence at Woodford 4514, Bellthorpe 4514, or Cedarton 4514, you can purchase a single day ticket for $80 at the front gate box office. Camping is not included and you must park your vehicle as instructed at the front gate and walk in to the festival ground for the day..

  • If the festival is postponed or canceled, tickets remain valid for the rescheduled dates. Refunds are not offered for personal circumstances or poor weather.

  • You can contact the festival via their official Connect / Contact Us page at https://www.earthfrequency.com.au/connect. For ticketing-specific questions, you may also seek support through Humanitix or Tixel, the platforms used for ticket sales.

  • Do not remove your wristband! If your wristband is too loose, tighten it. If it is too tight, go to the Info Booth for a replacement.

  • You can catch the train to Caboolture and taxi/rideshare to the festival site.

  • Drop off is at the front gate of the festival. We do not have a designated area.

  • Yes. A caravan/camper trailer pass is required to enter the site. Deluxe RV/Caravan plots (100 m² with 15 A power) are now sold out, however there may be some limited options for resale available via our ticket reseller Tixel.

  • Yes. You should assume that the police will be testing drivers both on the way to and from the festival.

  • Yes. BMFHQ (formerly Blow Me First) will be offering voluntary alcohol and drug self-testing at Earth Frequency Festival, so you can check yourself before leaving the festival.

  • Midday Tuesday is the latest departure time for festival patrons. All campers — general, deluxe, and Wow Tents — must depart the festival site by midday on Tuesday, October 28.

  • No! There is a strict no pet policy. There are numerous health and safety issues with dogs and cats and other pets at festivals, and our event permit does not allow any animals on site. Please help us make the festival clean and safe for everyone. If you arrive with your pet, you will be turned away. This applies to patrons and crew and artists alike... no exceptions (except Guide Dogs).

  • Your festival ticket allows entry from 9am on Friday onwards. For those who wish to arrive on Thursday, we have a number of camping upgrades available which will grant early entry. If you purchase a general camping early entry pass, a deluxe camping plot, an RV/caravan plot, or a bell tent from Wow Tents, you will be able to enter the festival on Thursday from 9am.

  • The festival will operate on a BYO basis. Earth Frequency has operated with a responsible BYO policy since its first year, with very few alcohol related incidents, and we thank you all for maintaining this positive and responsible approach to alcohol consumption. Please continue to enjoy alcohol in moderation so we can continue to maintain a BYO policy at the festival. We consider a reasonable amount of alcohol for one person over a 4-day period to be up to one carton of cans or one bottle of spirits. Binge Drinking is anti-social and not accepted at Earth Frequency. If any person brings excessive amounts of alcohol, they may be confiscated by our security.

  • Yes. Re-entry (“pass-outs”) is allowed according to gate timelines defined by the festival.

  • You must bring a printed or electronic ticket, photo ID that matches the ticket name, and any applicable vehicle or camping passes. You may also be subject to bag or vehicle searches.

  • Yes. Early Entry for General Camping, Family Camping, and Deluxe Camping allows arrival from 9 am Thursday, October 23. These are purchased as add-on passes via the camping options on the official site.

  • Email frontgate@earthfrequency.com.au and they will be able to provide them for you

  • You must present a photo ID that exactly matches your ticket name; have your festival ticket (e-ticket or printout) and any vehicle or camping passes; and comply with possible bag or vehicle searches.

  • Yes. Attendees may be subject to bag, vehicle, or personal searches as part of the entry process in accordance with the festival’s Terms & Conditions.

  • You can leave and re-enter, but you may be required to park in the car park and walk in, depending on the time of day/night and site conditions.

  • No, a total fire ban is in place for the duration of the event.

  • NO! Do not bring any glass bottles as these will be confiscated. Its not hard to do some searching to find your favourite drinks in cans, or to decant the contents of glass bottles in to plastic or steel drink containers. Glass is dangerous to everyone at the festival, including our amazing recycling team and children, so please don't bring any glass.

  • Generators are listed as prohibited items in the festival terms, so they are not allowed.

  • Yes. The following items are strictly prohibited on site: illegal, dangerous or menacing items; mini-bikes or motorised vehicles; glass bottles or containers; pyrotechnics (fireworks, sparklers, flares); generators or sound systems; pets (except guide dogs).

  • EFF suggests bringing appropriate camping gear, shade, water, lighting, and trash bags. Helpful gear includes portable chargers, reusable water bottles, and sturdy tent equipment. For full guidance, check the Camping Advice section on the website.

  • Among prohibited items: glass, generators, pets (excluding Guide Dogs), weapons/illegal items, pyrotechnics, mini-bikes, and sound systems.

  • Generators and Sound Systems are not allowed in the festival campgrounds. Small iPod docks / portable speakers in campsites are permitted, provided that you are considerate of your neighbours. If you have a portable speaker and you receive a request from the EFF team to turn it down or off, you must comply.

  • We consider a reasonable amount of alcohol for one person over a 4-day period to be up to one carton of cans or one bottle of spirits. Binge Drinking is anti-social and not accepted at Earth Frequency. If any person brings excessive amounts of alcohol, they may be confiscated by our security.

  • Power isn’t included by default in Wow Tents. However, you can add a “Power Up” extra for $200 (plus booking fee), specifically for device charging (e.g., phones, lights—but not high-draw appliances like hair dryers).

  • Wow Tents are located close to stages and amenities, and always come with nearby communal areas and toilets/showers

  • Arrival starts from 9 am on Thursday October 23, and exit must occur by midday Tuesday, October 28.

  • Yes. Tent types vary by capacity:

    • Quad tents sleep 4

    • Triple tents sleep 3

    • Double tents for 2

    • Scouts tent sleeps 1

  • Yes. There are “Empty” Wow Tent options (5m or 4m) which allow you to bring your own bedding (BYO), meaning you can supply your own mattress and bedding.

  • No, they cannot be locked. Secure your possessions in your car or keep them on you if they are valuable.

  • No. Festival tickets are purchased separately. A festival ticket is required per person in addition to Wow Tent accommodation.
