CAMPING

Earth Frequency Festival is a multi-day event in the lush setting of the S.E.QLD Hinterland, and camping is a key aspect of the festival. General Camping is included in the price of your festival ticket for the entire festival timeframe, and there are some camping upgrade options also available.

Please remember, Earth Frequency Festival is a Leave No Trace event and we expect all campers to play their part in minimising waste, leaving a clean campsite, and taking their campsite rubbish home. Our sustainability team will be providing bags for waste and separating recyclables, and you can read more about our approach to sustainability here.

Camping Options

General Camping

Your festival ticket includes camping in the General Camping campsite for the duration of the festival.  For general camping, you may arrive from 9am on Friday May 3rd and you must leave the festival venue by midday on Tuesday May 7th.

Please note:

  • A festival ticket per person is required to enter the festival.

  • A car pass is required per car to enter the festival venue.

  • A caravan / camper trailer pass is required per caravan / camper trailer to enter the festival venue.

It is important to note that in general camping, you will be directed to particular zones upon entry by the traffic and camping team and there are no options for saving space for friends or choosing a particular zone of the campsites. This is to create a smooth ingress process, smooth flowing traffic and to ensure there is space for everyone. If you want a guaranteed placement or to be able to camp next to friends who may be arriving at a different time to you, we recommend purchasing a deluxe camping plot.

General Camping Early Entry

For those choosing the general camping option included with the festival ticket who want to beat the big Friday rush, arrive a day early to get settled in before the festival kicks off officially on Friday morning, we now have an early entry pass which is available for $40 per person.  These will be limited in numbers to a maximum of 400 so we recommend getting in early if you want to pick up one of these early entry passes.

Love Camp will have a Thursday evening session to warm things up for all the early arrivals!

With a general camping early entry pass, you may arrive from 9am on Thursday May 2nd and you must leave the festival venue by midday on Tuesday May 7th.

Camping Advice

The key to an enjoyable time outdoors is a little forethought and planning. Although we put a lot of work in to making Earth Frequency Festival as safe as possible, the reality is, you're heading out for up to 4 days in the great outdoors - and taking all the right things along can make the difference between an awesome and a difficult weekend.

There is an art to setting up a great campsite, and you'll definitely notice some pro campers at the festival. But you don't need to wait until you arrive onsite to figure out what you should have brought .. here's a few useful things to bring:

  • Tent - In spite of the non stop fun, sleep is important and there's nothing like heading back to your comfy spot when you're all danced out.

  • Inflatable Mattress - Why not be extra comfy !!

  • Blankets - The nights can be cold out in the bush, and blankets can be handy for day time picnic chill spots too.

  • Torch - Your best friend at night time.

  • Water - We do provide drinking water but a good supply of water at your camp is essential

  • Hat & Sunscreen - The sun can be quite harsh and these handy items will make sure you exit the weekend with your normal skin colour.

  • Eski - Keep your drinks cold, store some food. You'll be happy on Sunday when you're enjoying a chilled beverage. And yes, we sell ice at the festival!

  • Tarp & Poles - Make a shady space to chill out and hang with friends.

  • Once you've covered the essentials, its time to get creative! Why not bring something to make your campsite beautiful, interesting and unique!

Disabled Camping

For anyone with a disability who would like to organise disable camping, please get in touch via the contact form.  Earth Frequency recognises the companion card system for any disabled person requiring a carer. For disabled camping, you may arrive from Friday May 12th and you must leave the festival venue by midday on Tuesday May 16th.
