PERFORMANCE

Performance art is a central pillar of the Earth Frequency experience, shaping the atmosphere and many of the key moments that make the festival feel alive beyond the music.

Each year, the program spans everything from our much-loved mainstage fire shows and the Indigenous Welcome to Country and opening ceremony, to roving performers, specially choreographed stage productions and spontaneous acts of theatre unfolding across the site.

Our talented team of performers draws on myth, ritual, ceremony and theatre, expressed through movement, colour, sound and interaction with the crowd. Their amazing skills and creativity not only provide entertainment and spectacle, but connect us to tradition, culture, place and story, grounding the festival in something deeper than music alone.
