WHO IS CHURCH OF TECHNO?
Fifteen years of worship have carved Church of Techno’s path. What began in the underground shadows has become an enduring rite for the devoted. This next mass is no exception.
From its origins in the damp archways of London in ‘07, to its migration into the pulse of Sydney in 2010, Church of Techno has remained a guiding light for the weird, the wild, and the devout.
A true institution of the underground.
Described by the Archbishop as “Powerful, dark, filthy. The parties your mother warned you about.”
This mass will be no different.
Expect hypnotic, twisted, bush-born techno. Groovy, girthy, driving, debaucherous.
A night of deep devotion to the darker sides of sound.
They aren’t just another event - they are a continuation of an evolving legacy.
A testament to community, endurance, and staying true to the dirt and the pulse, no matter the climate.

NO TOLERANCE FOR OFFENSIVE BEHAVIOURS
Church of Techno operate with a strict no tolerance policy for offensive behaviours. Prejudice is not welcome at any of their events.
They are queer & POC friendly; racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or any form of discriminatory behaviour or harassment or unwanted sexual advancements are strictly not tolerated and will result in immediate exclusion from the event and blacklisting from all future Church of Techno events.
Introverts and extroverts are welcome alike, and they just ask you to step out of the realm of social conformity. Church of Techno is a welcoming place for all to enjoy.
In 2023, Church of Techno began their CONTACT THE CREW initiative. If you are feeling unsafe for any reason, including but not limited to, being subject to offensive or misogynistic behaviour, seek out a Church of Techno core crew member wearing a “CREW” t-shirt and they will help you.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COUNTRY
Church of Techno acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which the venue and event are located, where they congregate and dance - the Gadigal People of the Eora Nation.
They offer respect and thank their elders past, present and emerging for their ongoing nurturing of this land.
Church of Techno acknowledges that their events and all the work they undertake takes place on stolen land and that sovereignty has never been ceded. It always was and always will be Aboriginal land.
